Why am I seeing this page?
You tried to open a website and got a page from Netvaer Proxy instead. Here is what it means and what you can do now.
Netvaer Proxy sits in front of Netvaer's websites and services. Every request from your browser goes through the proxy first. It protects the website from attacks and automated access, then passes your request on.
When the proxy can't deliver the page you asked for, or when it stops a request, it shows a page of its own.
How to recognise the page
- Top left, in small type, is the name of the website, with a headline below it such as "Bad gateway" or "Blocked".
- On the right, a tab on the illustration shows the error code, for example "Error 502".
- The footer shows a Trace ID, the date and time, and the links "System status", "Privacy", "Imprint" and "Help".
What you can do now
- Read the sentence under the headline. It says what happened and what you can do.
- Find the article for your error code in this help centre.
- If that doesn't solve it, contact the operator of the website and give them the Trace ID.
The proxy has no access to user accounts, orders or content of the website. The website's operator handles questions about those.
