What your browser needs for the check
The check page works in any current browser. These three things must be allowed, and these extensions can get in the way.
Required
- JavaScript must be turned on. The check runs a calculation in the browser.
- Cookies must be allowed for the website. Your pass is stored there after the check.
- A current browser, for example a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
What can get in the way
- script blockers that stop JavaScript on the page,
- extensions that delete cookies immediately,
- extensions that fill in forms or trigger clicks automatically,
- browsers controlled by automation tools (for example Selenium, Playwright or Puppeteer).
Pause such extensions for this website and reload the page.
Accessibility
The check works fully with a keyboard: press Tab to reach the box, then Space or Enter. For the "Press and hold" step, hold down the space bar. Screen readers announce the state of the check.
